Digital
For the past few years, I have been working with Procreate on the iPad. The drawing and painting tools Procreate were a big step up technically from those using TVPaint and Photoshop. The Applepencil allows you to draw on the side of the nib. It sounds trivial but it was a game changer for me and was more intuitive than the Cintiq pen I had been using for years. I have narrowed my Procreate tools down over time and keep to the same set. Below is my toolset that I have used to make all the images on this page. I still rely heavily on the digital process to plan out the work I do on paper.
